Yeah, the previous journal had been up for far too long w/ no success.

In the meantime, I tried to turn my life around, and am still in the process.

Hopefully everyone else is having a wonderful time. I am dealing with tiny, tiny explosions, both of creativity, fitness, competency (to my ultimate surprise) and ambition. With no prior warning I found something that, if unchallenged, will become my primary motivation and an extreme source of fun. Also, hopefully, money.

No one actually reads this far, mind you, so if you skipped to the end to see how it turned out, I need some advice on a girl I like re: something for her birthday. I am considering offering to take her out towards a fancified dinner someplace, ...

this is not the sort of thing I usually do.

Since I don't has too many watchers I doubt I'll get the 13, but:
